    Superintendent Dr. Rich Nye

    Ogden School District


    Dr. Rich Nye is the superintendent of Ogden School District. He has extensive experience working at many levels in education. His first teaching assignment was at a rural junior high school where he taught 8th grade integrated science. He went on to teach earth and life science in an urban elementary school in Phoenix, Arizona before becoming an administrator at a large affluent suburban high school.

    Nye obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Arizona State University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Weber State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Utah State University where he also taught courses in assessment, evaluation, cognition, foundations and science education.

    Nye grew up in South Ogden and currently lives in the Ogden area with his wife and three children.


    Please note that all attendees need to wear facial masks to our meeting. (As per Utah State Health Department and CDC recommendations.)
