First, we want to thank you for your willingness to take time to come and address our group. The members of Ogden Breakfast Exchange Club are executives in business, government and non-profits. We remain active in this organization because it provides an opportunity to make a difference, network with other executives, and stay current on what is happening in our community. That is where you come in.
Our members will want you to introduce yourself and provide a little background about your organization. How did you get started? What is unique about your organization and how do you make a difference? What is new? What would you want members of the community to know about your organization? Are there any current issues that our membership should know about? Do you have any needs for help from the community? Feel free to share any gems that you have learned in your career that might inspire us or help us be better citizens and managers.
Our weekly meetings start at 7:30 a.m. each Thursday at the Ogden Golf and Country Club. The address is: 4197 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT (www.ogdencountryclub.com). We start with a few minutes of informal greeting over coffee and juice. Next, we have a Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer, followed by a breakfast buffet where you will be our guest. As we finish breakfast at about 8:10, you will be introduced and then will have 15-20 minutes to address the group. Within that time, allow a few minutes for questions and answers. We like to end the presentation around 8:30. We typically have around 25 attendees each Thursday morning, in case you need to plan for handouts.
We do not automatically set up any audio/video so if you need a computer, screen, projector, etc. for your presentation, please let us know in advance. Our meetings tend to be rather informal and intimate so please do not feel that you need to prepare something fancy.
Finally, we wish to open a standing invitation to join our club. We have a great time and make a difference in our community by the money we raise for Shoes for Tots and other causes. You are just the kind of person we would like to have join us.
